The Truth
Masaya was no lie. Masaya is my reality, Masaya is my stability, my trust, a part of us that will go on, whether we do or not. Engraved.
This is more than just a memory. This is greater than just a phase, or a page in book. This is the book itself, strongly bound. This is the sunrise and the tri-colored sky, and the sunset with too many stars to fill one sky.
This was reality, and it crashed. This was perfection, and it's scarred. This was hope, and I'm still hoping.
This is still my eternity, eternally. This is you.

Parafuckingnoia.
Jabber, blabber, jabber
Words using your throat
As a ladder
And bursting out of your mouth
Mute.
Manicured scratching
Screeching, peeling, scratching
Peel off your paranoia
Expose yourself
SCREAM
Let it out
Destruction, break it,
Break it and exploit
Those pieces
Create it
Live it
Breathe it and
Exhale slow
Explode

Never Stopped To Question Why
Do you contradict your contradictions,
While arguing about what’s right
And wrong,
And possibly something that doesn’t belong
In either category?
Have you questioned limitations
That reality inflicts?
The norms, the rules, society
And being taken too little
Or too seriously?
Do you write to be heard
Or to able to hear yourself
Through the various voices
Trying to shut you up?
Does your sight become
Your sound?
Do you feel unplugged
From yourself?
Feel like the audience
In your own picture?
Feel like an inflated balloon
Thriving to be pierced
Just to let something out?
Do you question
The necessity for these punctures?

NonsensensensensensE
In the paan and spit
And a hen sat blushing
Over the cow’s first kiss
The bus wheels spun
As Banno the goat,
Looked for her spectacles
For a week’s worth of rice
Half for the family,
Double half for the mice
The saans blamed the bahu
For her gastro-meningitis
Camels wore children as hats
To block out the sun.
It is a well known fact
That camel rides are fun
Thus Granny stories travelled
From generation to generation
Sometimes delayed en route
By collapsed car engines.
Just like Rajnikaanth
Munni married clerk Prasad
To please her grand aunt
Village ladies swayed their hips
While their bangles played songs,
The elders sat around the fire,
Puffing on their bongs.
Watching a drunken brawl
Rodents watched the sunset
The tourist was appalled
There is absolutely nothing
That you wouldn’t find here
Welcome to a journey
Through Mother India.
Ah! More nonsense!
Fancy dilapidated cars,
Enter the city’s farce.
Fat cows, traffic cows,
Keeping the traffic slow,
Traffic cops are no show
Order, disorder,
Disorder in order,
The cow controls the law, dear!
Cows horns, drivers limbs,
Signal their where abouts,
Signaling the way out.
Cattle and traffic jams
Mutton, beef, ham jams
Non-vegetarian scam.
Nonsense Poems - Billboard
A lizard pundit once
Thought it wise
To shed his disguise
At spiritual meetings
To help meet the Lord
Due to migrating flies
That stopped mating
Resembling his lack of dating
We are deviating
From the topic
“You see my fellow citizens,
Lions fearful of the hare
Hide in daylight
But your sins wouldn’t dare
So we must gather to prepare
Cook them,
And store on a shelf
Hence guiding you to
Get in touch with your inner self
While the lizard advertised
And filled cups with advice
On solutions for inner doubt
There was yet another device
Devoid of flies
For comfort inside out
Ironically placed beside,
(Putting all else aside),
An invitation to meet God
Lux Cosy decided to claim
Using an instrument of fame
That they had the perfect solution
To liberate inner shame
Hrithik Roshan flaunted underwear
Making the locals aware
Of comfort that can be felt
If they would only care
To purchase a pack or two,
One for pundit, one for you,
And united you could say
Yeh Andar Ki Baat Hai
Nonsense poems - Good Life
Bones and stones
And stoney bones
Tomato and potato
Potato flavored tomatoes
Spit and spatter
Gruesome matter
One left slipper
An expired nail clipper
These are the village cow
Basanti’s dinner
She produces milk
And as smooth as silk
The contents include
From all things crude
To all things shroud
Shroud to crude
Polite and rude
As the children drink
Watched over by the wife
I say, welcome to the Good Life!

Nonsense Poems - Indian Bus Ride
This bus is a cup,
Brimming with creatures,
Big nose, small toes,
And other amusing features.
From here to there,
To every type of where,
Jump on, jump in,
Inhale the stink.
Enjoy the view,
And mind your head,
Dhoomrapaan
Manna hai.
If there’s no place,
You’ll have to sit inside,
Don’t mind that stench,
Hygiene just died.
And finally,
When you’re settled in,
You’ll hear the conductor say,
Aap ka stop aa

Untitled.
Your lips are sealing,
And you’re slowly feeling,
Feeling, feeling,
Detached.
Your scars were healing,
Till you felt like screaming,
Screaming, screaming,
Through them.
You’re slowly hating,
And contemplating,
The realism in the reality,
Of contentment.
You’re tired of playing,
And persistently swaying,
Swaying, swaying,
Mentally.
Your mental sway,
Has no cadence.
You cannot sense,
What you are feeling.
You’re settling,
Into the numb.
You find veracity in now.

UpsidedownsideuP
The phone line’s fragile
Under the pressure
Of restless words
Lost inner connection
Between thoughts,
Between dealings
And misleading
Fast forwarded years,
Pause, stop, play
Eject.
End of one phase,
And the beginning of another,
That begins at the end,
Of relations with another
Who you smother
With enough to burst the ego
The super large ego
Bursting at the seams
Step out, step down,
Cold, shudder,
Give up, give away,
Everything
Groan, moan, sigh
Hopeless hoping
Escaping to imprisonment
Of body mind soul
The works, the whole
Losing control
Forward spiral
Swivel backwards side
Collide
White, pure white chaos.

Painting.
Slice of a tree bark,
Carpentered curved and slim,
Tinted viridian,
And crowned with Sable lips
Softly kisses the hues,
Embracing an assortment of shades,
And when it speaks,
It narrates a story,
A story of emotions,
Indescribable by words,
On to a bare, inviting canvas,
Creating long lasting impressions,
Pouring spirit into its blankness,
Painting on diverse expressions
Filling it with a soul,
A reason for existence
The static between,
Itself and the other,
Bears a relationship unique,
One beyond understanding,
One not worth wanting to decipher
In fear of losing it’s charm
And it is him, who controls,
The destiny of the two,
It is him, who’s engulfed
In their supernatural liaison
When he brings the two together,
Attempting to create what no other
Can create for him
A message to an audience
A message for himself
The hidden truth, the broken heart, the raging id,
Anything, everything
‘I paint with my heart’, says he,
‘Not with my hands.’

29.11.2008
Frozen in motion
Intoxicated
I freeze
In my infatuation
You’re spotted
They all sit down
You stand out
Glowing
I follow you
With my eyes
Unknowing
My eyes look askance
In attempt
To construe
The magnitude
Of elation
I get from you
Pull you towards me
Breaths distance away
Breathless
My words are skipping
On a hidden rope
As they confess
I’m captivated
Much fascinated
By you
I wish to be
The solo orbit
That leads to you.

Elegant Confusion
The unspoken, the unsaid.
Patch work and mud,
Radiant smiles and blood.
Ink-less, blank page,
Memories wrinkle with age,
The red red nail varnish
And the black sky.
Five page long text,
All of them, and then the rest,
Spotlights and clicks,
And life's supernatural tricks.
One step closer to me,
One heart skips a beat.
The soft pink innocence
And purple confusion.
One step away,
Winter killed day,
Empty tissue box,
With it’s very own lock,
A never-ending playlist,
Burnt letter, broken promise.
Long drives and sunrise,
And the heartless cries.
One whisper, hush
A senseless touch.
So different, so natural, so real,
So confusing.
What goes around,
Makes its way through,
Then lifts itself,
Comes back to haunt you,
Like the cerulean star,
And the black black canvas,
The old pictures and the lies,
The semi-broken sky,
The piano in the jewelry box
And words that make no sense.
No sense, illogical, words dipped in alcohol,
Like yours,
Revenge,
You promised me,
And we danced,
Danced and got lost in this elegant confusion.
You confuse me.

Caramel
Open mouth,
Your words pour out
Like caramel
Flowing through and through
Pulling me closer to you
I might be drowning
Gasping for air
And you’re right there
As always
Standing still
While your mouth does a dance
And your words play the music.

End
Breathing heavy,
Waiting, waiting, waiting…
Personally connected,
Body connected
Soul disconnected.
Nice to meet you too.
Mute, disconnecting.
Thousand words, million letters,
Playing hide and seek in my head.
Awkward silence, longing kiss,
It feels so right, it feels so right.
This is so wrong.
Verbally emotional,
Physically linked,
It’s been so long.
Leave it all behind,
Leave it all behind.
Let it go.
Ex Lovers
On a flying machine,
Guilt trip, bad trip.
Crashing into your perception of reality,
Your distortion.
Emotional malfunction,
Emotional menace.
Blackmail, threat mail.
Suicide letters, printed anguish.
In a submarine,
Sinking deep, sinking low,
Sinking into your disarray,
Floating on your disorders.
Mental interruption,
Mental cessation.
Future wreck, devastation,
Body, soul - lock up.
In a speeding automobile,
Goodbye, goodbye,
Goodbye sanity,
Goodbye reason and understanding.
Hello, Hello hell.
I Am.
I’m shifting
My emotions
From one side to the other--
I’m losing
But I’m choosing
This twisted path
On my own--
I’m a mess
Intertwined in the rest
Of what remains
From the past--
I’m haunted
Much daunted
By my actions
Awaiting reactions--
When the truth exposes itself
On a stage, someplace
The crowd is crowded
Coward, I’m shrouded
Frightened and unprepared
To face all that I’d dared
To have created in the first place--
I’m not dealing
I’m not healing
I’m handcuffed
And I’m the only one with the key
I’m gagged
I’ve dragged
The undeserving
Down this mud path
I am
A mess, a test, an experiment of disaster
The thread, the puppet, and the puppet master
I am
The court, the ball, the key player
The fraud, the fool, and the betrayer
I am a victim
Of malevolence, guilt and blunder
Does it make you wonder
Is it me you really love?
Shoot the Liar
The colors are flying now,
With the shooting moons
The stars are dying now
This afternoon
The sky’s a hide out
For everything you fear
The façade is melting
As you feel them near
The box is empty
Your head - reversed
You shoot the liar
To break the curse
Which you created
A few months rewound
But you hide in fear now
As the moons hit ground
You hear them whispering
As the breeze hits your ears
You put the flame out
With your tears
You’re frail and fragile
You’re scared and weak
Your lips are kissed
So your words can’t speak
You struggle for sanity
Your peace is at war
You try to sew up
What your insecurities tore
The knots are opening
And the rope’s too thin
For you to walk on
Away from your sins
You’re floating above now
To join the stars
To take you with them
To take you far
Your explanations
Are left to dry
They wave to you
As you head for the sky.
